I'm a queer and disabled professional artist, director, and educator based in New York City. Originally from Akron, Ohio, I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Kent State University before moving on to study classical rotating repertory theatre with Wayne State University's Hilberry Theatre, where I earned my MFA in Acting.
While in Detroit at Wayne State, I co-produced the Michigan premiere of Rajiv Joseph's "Gruesome Playground Injuries" while also performing the classics at the Hilberry and spending a summer in Russia studying at the Moscow Art Theatre School.
I truly believes in the power of live performance to develop and promote empathy, imagination, and community. Living with Multiple Sclerosis for over 20 years, I am an advocate for accessibility, equity, and inclusion in artistic spaces.
When not making art, I enjoy spending time playing music with my husband, exploring the many corners of Brooklyn with our rescue pup, Cosmo, and the occasional ghost walk or board game night.
